Nice selection of images from things organised neatly. Your 2nd and 3rd are high on my list of favs. About 2 weeks ago I spent many many hours going back through the archives there, so much awesomeness.
Oh dear. I like this. A lot. I feel a time suck coming on. That photo of the Gogo’s was just too good to let go without colour coding and taking my own photos too. Arg.
The beauty of organized chaos, I love it! # 2 is totally awesome, looks like a very disciplined army preparing for battle. ๐
Thats one hell of a little toy collection.
These pics are amazing. The rose petals rock ๐
Great find, David. These are some great selections, too.. I’m definitely keeping up with this one!

Behold, obsessive compulsive disorder at it’s finest.
Captivating post. When inanimate objects become art.

Hi David, gorgeous pics! #2 is especially inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
It looks like someone has taken photos of my life. I even go as far as organising my underwear in order of style and colour so that I wear something different each day and don’t end up with days in a row of similar colours and styles. Sometimes I snap out of it but it isn’t long before I start again. I think there is something beautiful about organisation.
Thought on everyone’s mind: “I want that toy collection!” Okay, maybe not everyone but hey, I know I’m not the only one. =)
There is something about an organised photo, especially a colourful one which waves through the colours which is really appealing. But then multi coloured stripes or polka dots are equally appealing so i suppose its the same thing?! Any way – organised “stuff” = organised mind!
This was just so amazing. Especially the matchsticks. Thanks so much for posting. :0
In food its called Mis en Place- Everthing in it’s place.
I tend to take this to the extreme. When I design, my windows have to be exactly spaced.
My socks have a place.
And if my kids move em.. Grrr!!
Beauty through colour and organisation
There are some really interesting collections on the site. The disassembled typewriter is great.
Love the little toy collection – you just want to kick them over!
