The 150-square-metre Villa Ypsilon was designed by London and Brussels-based LASSA, headed up by architects Theo Sarantoglou Lalis and Dora Sweijd.

Villa Ypsilon, by LASSAMuch of the 2015 build was prefabbed and self-assembled.

The height of the house is limited to the tip of the olive trees so it fits with the surrounding landscape.

“The remote location of the project in combination with the limited budget and non-standard geometry induced a construction strategy that called for a large amount of off-site prefabrication and self-assembly which allowed to reduce the construction time to 7 months without compromising anything in terms of quality or exceeding the budget.”

  1. This is awesome! I love the simplicity and the fact that the designers consider nature and make great use of the topography. The environmental condition naturally makes the house look lonely and isolated from human activities. For sustainability, I love the plan. Great Job LASSA.
