  1. Love the texture on that lizard’s elbow!

  2. Excellent pictures David, you have really captured the colours on them.

The second picture (or the road) could be used in an advert – like a running advert!

  3. Hope you had a relaxing time David. I recently went camping for a few days – its good to get away from the digital world every so often, as I’m sure you’ll know…

I love iguanas, such cool lizards…nice shots.

  5. Wow! those photos are simply amazing. Thanks for sharing them.

  6. The colors in the pictures are very lively. I like the dormant volcano shot, it’s very inspiring. By the way, may I know what camera you used?

  8. Wow! those photos are simply amazing.

  9. Nicely-taken photos, David! It sounds like you had a pretty nice, relaxing week.
Looking at these photos made me realize that I can use a long, relaxing vacation…away from computer. 🙂

  10. Definitely is, Andrew.

George, my camera’s a Nikon D5000. It’s a solid entry-level DSLR. More than enough for my needs. You’ll find a few DSLR recommendations here (in the comment thread, too).

    Anywhere in mind, Jessica?

  11. Hi David,

I would love to visit Europe, Japan, and Korea someday.

For now, I will be happy to have one-week vacation in any place within U.S. where I don’t have to worry about anything — no computer, no e-mails, no cooking, no work, etc. 🙂

  12. Japan’s on my to-visit list, too. Next stop, San Serriffe.

  13. Amazing pictures of Tenerife. Isn’t this the island where one of the worst aviation disasters took place in 1970-something. What is that reptile – it looks lethal !

  14. You came to Tenerife and you didn’t say anything? It was going to be nice to meet you and show you around!

  15. Hi Anelia, my bad. I hope all’s well with you in the capital.

  16. Anyway, it is much more beautiful in Winter especially in Carnivals! Take a note… 😉 good luck!
